November Beginnings

Hey friends!

I've been busy working on a set of several short documentaries exploring a Dutch novelist, an all-girl's hockey team, a U.S. Olympic Rowing hopeful, and teenage artists. What a last month it's been and I have so much planning/learning/shooting to do!

I'm updating my FaceBook page for the production company and will launch it at the beginning of 2016. There's some exciting stuff to come, including a short doc series on people and their passions. 

Currently, my film "The White Slippers" is being submitted to film festivals. We're very hopeful it will get into a few and we can share the story with more audiences.

Arete Standard Films has arrived!

I'm so thrilled to announce the launch of the website for Arete Standard Films, a film production company which will focus solely on telling female-driven narratives. It is my goal to discover and develop strong female voices that represent the complex, rich human beings we are. 

Please check back on this blog for updates on writing tidbits, development, shoots, trailer releases, and an inside look at making films. I'm excited to share this process with you and how stories become living, breathing creations. Thanks for stopping by.
